Shortly after Challenge 11 was announced I was invited to go off-roading with my partner's son in the mountains outside Denver, Colorado, USA. I was told we'd come across a lot of old abandoned cabins, mines, mills, etc. I figured I'd probably run into an opportunity to get a shot that might qualify for the challenge. On this page, are some of the shots I took, expressly because the subject was aged, decayed, used, or worn out. I took dozens of pictures of these, and several other structures but these, and the one(s) on the next page are the only ones I considered for the challenge.
